We also ask: In what ways can valuing our relationships with the Earth and the unseen lead to more effective, radical, and lasting work for political change? How can the outcomes we’re working for be guided by the land and nature spirit powers? Earth re-connection is inherently political and invites deeper personal and communal responsibility.
We are learning from the empty space in the middle of the circle. When we turn away from our screens, we meet each other. In our screens there are magicians who know stuff and can tell us what to do. In our circles we are open, listening, curious, paying attention, receiving and offering in unity.
Collective problems are solved collectively. After many decades of personal development work we are falling on our noses. Oops! These wonderful self development skills are being used at the expense of us and our beautiful earth! A new kind of community is emerging from grounding, connecting to all species, As long as we assume ownership of earth and sky, rivers, valleys, even each other, we are sleeping and having nightmares. We need to wake up and assume response ability, instead of lack and need.
How to transform trauma into innovation: When we lost earth from under our feet, we were yet not born. The same way future generations will receive our gifts, along with all consequences. In the collective all ancestors and future generations are present. Pure presence!
